Bridging the Gap for International Students in NYC
Moving to a new city can be exciting. However, for many international students in New York, it also brings challenges—cultural barriers, social isolation, and a lack of local connections. Nest is designed to bridge this gap by fostering real-life connections through storytelling, mentorship, and curated experiences, helping students feel at home in the city.
VR Swimming Learning Experience
My Role: UX Researcher, UX/UI designer
A virtual reality-based approach to help learners develop confidence, familiarity, and skills in swimming.
Millions of people worldwide struggle to swim due to psychological barriers and lack of physical awareness. Our VR-based swimming training program offers an immersive learning experience, helping learners gradually overcome fear, improve body coordination, and build confidence in water through interactive feedback and real-time guidance.
SafeSense
My Role: UX/UI designer
Breaking Silence
Sex education can be difficult to talk about—especially in families facing cultural taboos. SafeSense is a gamified mobile platform that helps Chinese parents and children (ages 6–12) learn about sex, safety, and body awareness together. Through guided, interactive experiences, it turns awkward conversations into moments of trust and connection.
